On our initial call, Fernanda asked me, “If you don’t do this, what are you going to do? What is the cost of not doing it?”
This hit home for me. It made me think about what being stuck and frustrated was costing me in my life, and, if nothing changed, what I would lose in the long run: my career, my position, my seat at the table, a lifetime of income—everything I had for which I’d worked so hard and sacrificed so much.
I thought of everything I’d done and all the money, time, and energy I had spent that had not worked. As a lawyer, I did thorough due diligence—and Rewired Global consistently showed up as the premier coaching program for women leaders who wanted what I did—to grow, develop, and become the impact drivers of our companies, communities, and countries. And I knew this was it. I knew this was worth a try.
It’s changed the way I approach my work, the way I engage and energize my relationships, and the way I step into each morning. My energy level is way up. I’m better able to respond and pivot. All of that has made my life and my work as a leader more fulfilling and impactful.
My work is not any less intense, mind you—my days are still packed with plenty that needs my attention—but I no longer feel each challenge is “one more thing.” Instead, they are things I feel well equipped and excited to handle. And that’s huge.
This program has not only changed my life and my own career, but it has dramatically and positively impacted the people I work with, my family and friends—and how I show up in the world. I could have missed all of this—I could have dismissed the ad, my call with Fernanda, or skipped the assignments. But I didn’t. And now I have everything I ever wanted.
The awareness that I have of my brain and how it operates. I’ve always felt I knew more, and not being able to understand and tap into that wisdom was frustrating—it felt like a buzz that was always there. The program has allowed me to connect the dots between my brain and my behavior. I not only understand it but can now also rewire it. I now have a direct link between what’s possible and what’s necessary to lead for lasting impact.
